Position Title:Janitor

Position Description / Objective:Performs a full range of janitorial duties related to the cleaning of Hangar 1, the Auto Shop, and the Flight Ops Training Center. Must be able to perform duties with little supervision. Must have knowledge of the methods, materials, and equipment used in janitorial work. One year janitorial experience preferred. This position reports to the Director of Maintenance. The following duties will be performed: clean hangar office areas, stair, and break room floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Gather and empty trash receptacles in offices, break rooms, and main hangar floor. Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Dust and clean office equipment. Strip, seal, and polish floors as needed. Clean windows as needed. Ability to drive company vehicles for transporting equipment to other facilities. Be able to read and follow procedures for use of chemicals and equipment. Remove snow and debris from outside walkways and spread snow melting chemicals. Aid in set up and removal of tables and chairs. Identify and report building maintenance needs. Replace facility lights as needed. Clean interior and exterior of maintenance vehicles. Other duties may be assigned.
Required skills and experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must possess a valid driver's license with good driving record for the past five years. Regular attendance is required. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, 5-year background check, 10-year criminal history check and security threat assessment.

Position Description / Objective:Northern Air Cargo is now recruiting for crewmembers to operate B737 aircraft.
Required skills and experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Must be able to operate a pallet jack. Valid Alaska drivers license with good driving record. Passport required. Must be able to work flexible hours. Applicant must possess FAA Multi-Engine ATP Certificate. Previous Part 121/135 experience preferred. Second Class FAA Medical Certificate required. Radiotelephone Operator Permit preferred.

Position Description / Objective:The Passenger Ramp Agent shall perform a variety of operational aircraft service duties as assigned. Ramp agents shall conduct themselves professionally, reflecting a positive image to each and every customer at all times. The position requires a combination of physical capabilities and mental capacity. Essential duties and responsibilities of the position include: Loads, stows and unloads baggage and cargo from conveyor belts, carts, trucks, and aircraft; Operates X-Ray equipment for baggage security screening; Cleans and services aircraft interiors, and removes, assembles and installs passenger cabin supplies; Perform aircraft service duties including cleaning, windshield washing and trash removal; Receives and positions aircraft using standard marshalling hand signals and pushes back aircraft; Positions and depositions jet way to aircraft; Operates and cleans various mechanical machines and ramp equipment related to aircraft service such as radios, aircraft air conditioners, cargo and belt loaders, trucks, tractors, tugs, vans and related automotive equipment; Will be required to maintain ramp area as needed; All ground equipment must be operated in a safe manner; A positive and friendly attitude with customers and coworkers must be displayed at all times; Safe practices are a priority and all rules and procedures must be adhered to at all times; Weekend and holiday work required.
Required skills and experience:Must be at least 18 years old. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must posses a valid Alaska driver's license with a good driving record. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to get along with others and must have the desire to provide excellent customer service. Ability to obtain airport security clearance, pass a pre-employment drug test and a 5-year background check also required.

Position Description / Objective:A Northern Air Cargo GSE Mechanic's duties will include but not be limited to: performing preventive maintenance inspections & servicing of company vehicles and equipment including line trucks and vans, AC and DC generator sets, portable heaters, push back tugs, baggage tugs, belt loaders, compressors, de-icer trucks, box vans, forklifts, maintenance/stair stands and other miscellaneous equipment used in the support of aircraft and buildings. Troubleshooting and repair of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, test equipment and proper hand tools as necessary. Gasoline and diesel engine diagnosis and repair as necessary. Must have the ability to operate a wide variety of equipment including snow removal equipment, man lifts and forklifts. Other duties may be assigned. Regular attendance is required.
Required skills and experience:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Five years hands on experience required. Trade or technical school may be substituted for a portion of hands on experience. Must own all tools necessary to complete maintenance actions listed above.
